报告摘要:
Quantum error correction is a key approach to achieve large-scale quantum computing. Due to the low encoding rate of surface codes, fault-tolerant quantum computing schemes based on surface codes require the use of a large number of physical qubits. qLDPC codes are quantum error correction codes with a high encoding rate. In recent years, with the progress in experimental technologies, fault-tolerant quantum computing based on qLDPC codes has become possible. In this talk, I will introduce qLDPC codes and schemes to implement fault-tolerant quantum computing on qLDPC codes. I will give a lattice surgery scheme that can operate on an arbitrary number of logical qubits simultaneously, achieving parallelised fault-tolerant quantum computing.
